We are pleased to provide you with our Annual Water Quality Report. It is important to us that we keep you informed about the excellent water quality and services we have provided to you over the past year. Our goal is and has always been to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. Our City water source comes from a total of four (4) well fields, which consist of seven (7) deep basalt wells.   See link below for the full annual drinking water quality report.  Past reports can be found at the bottom of the Public Works Water Department page.

The City's Spring Clean Up Event will occur on April 17 & 18, 2020.

February 2020 Flooding - FEMA Disaster Relief Funds available

STATE OF OREGON  FEDERAL DISASTER DECLARATION FACT SHEET  APRIL 3, 2020

Today, April 3, 2020, President Donald J. Trump granted a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Oregon triggering the release of Federal funds to help people and communities recover from Severe Storms, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides that occurred February 5-9, 2020.  Details of the disaster declaration and assistance programs are as follows:

Application packets are now available for the 2020 Lineman Scholarship. The scholarship is for individuals interested in the outside power lineman, electrical engineering or line staking technician trade. 

The deadline to apply has passed (December 30, 2019 12:00 p.m. PST).  If you are interested please check back. 

Saturday, October 26th.  7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Milton-Freewater Police Library Lobby - 722 S. Main Street.

Deadline to apply is Monday, December 30, 2019 12:00 p.m. PST

Leaves piled or bagged in the street near the curb will be picked up without charge by the City of Milton-Freewater crews starting Tuesday, November 12, 2019through Friday, December 6, 2019.
