The Milton-Freewater Fire Department consists of 21 volunteers and Chief Shane Garner.  The Department has two fire stations that house a total of six firefighting apparatus.   The Fire Department has maintained an Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating of Class 3 since November of 2016.

Mission Statement:

The Milton-Freewater Fire Department is dedicated to the safety of those living in and visiting our community.  We take great pride in the excellence with which we provide these services.​
