PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKER

Position:                PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKER – Full Time

 

Salary:                   Salary range $18.02 - $21.92 hourly

 

Duties:                  

Works under the supervision of the Public Works Superintendent or Lead.  Performs a variety

of strenuous manual and semi-skilled tasks in the general maintenance and beautification of

parks, buildings, aquatic center. Operates automotive and power equipment. Does related work as required.

 

Qualifications:      

UTILITY WORKER

Position:                UTILITY WORKER – Full Time

 

Salary:                   Salary range $20.49 - $24.91 hourly

 

Duties:

Performs a variety of strenuous manual and semi-skilled tasks in the general construction

and maintenance of city water, sewer, street, parks and solid waste facilities; operates

automotive and heavy power equipment.  Does related work as required.

 

Qualifications:      

Ability to follow oral and written instructions and act upon them accordingly.  Considerable

Aquatic Center LIFEGUARD

The City of Milton-Freewater is currently accepting applications for the position of Lifeguard for the 2017 Summer Aquatic Center season. Lifeguard applicants must have current lifeguard certification, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid before employment begins. Applications are available at Milton-Freewater City Hall, 722 South Main and also on the City’s website, www.mfcity.com

CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Salary:                             $15.40 - $18.71 per hour

 

Duties:                            

Enforces City codes relating to animals, parking, weeds and debris, vehicle abatement,

intersection vision clearance and other related work as required.

 

Qualifications:                

Considerable knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of non-criminal codes.

Ability to read and write instructions and to deal with the public in a firm but courteous

manner.
