April Employee of the Month

On behalf of the City Council and staff, please join me in congratulating APRIL City of Milton-Freewater Employee of the Month—Tim Smock.

Tim joined our City team as a Parks Maintenance Worker in January of 2000 and later took to the neighborhoods of our City as a Sanitation Truck Driver.  His home department is Public Works, and sometimes because of his valuable certifications, you will still see Tim spraying weeds on public property.

March Employee of the Month

The City of Milton-Freewater experienced a Winter to go down into the record books.  At least we think it should.  But City crews kept us safe as much as humanly possible.

Fire crews responded to over 20 calls due to severe weather and weather changes.  Fire apparatus had to have tire chains installed and removed multiple times, sometimes more than once daily.  The Fire Department had several that went above and beyond to ensure the City was safe.

They are:

Bob White   Pat Didion   Justin Riley   Steve Story   Graham Banks   Manny Ramirez
