Donations for Utility Bill Financial Assistance Program

City of Milton-Freewater is partnering once again with Community Bank for our Utility Bill Financial Assistance Program.

Our local Community Bank at 504 N Main St is once again holding a Charity Drive to support our Utility Bill Assistance Program.

Donations can be made at our local Community Bank’s drive up window through December 18th.

Community Bank will match donations received up to $1,000.

All money collected supports citizens in crisis within the City Light & Power Service territory.

2021 Dog License now avaiable

Attention dog owners of Milton-Freewater:  2021 dog licenses are for sale now at the Milton-Freewater Police Department.  The dog licenses are $10 if your pet is spayed or neutered and $35 if not.  Please bring proof of a current rabies vaccination with you from a licensed veterinarian.  A late fee of $10 will be assessed to each dog license purchased beginning March 1, 2020."

National Drug Take Back Day

Milton-Freewater is participating in the participates in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, Saturday October 24th. You can bring expired or unwanted prescription drugs into the lobby of the Police Department where there will be a barrel to leave the drugs. Please bring the drugs in original container if you are able to otherwise in a sealed container or zip lock bag. Utility Bill Assistance Program

City of Milton-Freewater’s Utility Bill Assistance Program is managed in cooperation with Milton- Freewater Ministerial Association
to help the underprivileged in our community pay their winter utility bills. The money received through this program stays within the
Milton-Freewater electric service area.
