National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week April 9-15

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week (NPSTW).  Held every year during the second week of April, NPSTW is a time to recognize telecommunications personnel in the public safety community for their service and commitment to the profession.

Notice of Budget Committee Meeting Posted 4/7/2017

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Milton-Freewater, Umatilla County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 will be held in the Albee Room at the Public Library. The meeting will take place on April 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive public comment on the budget. A public hearing concerning the proposed uses of State Revenue Sharing Funds will also take place. The City is proposing the funds be used for public safety purposes.

REQUEST FOR BIDS Wastewater Laboratory Testing/Analysis Services CONTRACT 269

Bids are invited for required wastewater testing and analysis services in accordance with our Wastewater Operating Permit with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.

Gathering Place

The Gathering Place was build in 2015 with the help of over 160 community volunteers. The site is located on the corner of McLoughlin High School and is a place where community gathering can be held. There is a small stage with a grass knoll providing a sitting area.
