2019 Crack Sealing Press Release

In the weeks to come we will be preparing city streets to be crack sealed from SE 15th Avenue south to Key Boulevard.  It is imperative that you do not blow lawn clippings or other debris on the street surfaces to assist in expediting this process. Staff plans to begin maintenance on August 19, 2019 through September 6, 2019.  Staff will be conducting such maintenance between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on regular work days.

Locust Mobile Village Water Line Extension

The City of Milton-Freewater, Oregon (Owner) invites Bids for the construction of the Locust Mobile Village Water Line Extension project. The Work includes approximately 3,300 linear feet of 12-inch water line, 540 tons of asphalt concrete, fire hydrants, 6-inch PRV vault, 4-inch meter and vault, water valves, water service connections, meter boxes, service setters, relocation of existing meters, and other associated work.

PUBLIC NOTICE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Due to technical issues with the water filtration system the city has been left no other choice than to drain the pool.  Safety is our number one priority and when water clarity is not adequate we cannot risk opening the pool.  Staff is working on this issue and we will provide an update on when we will re-open just as soon as we know more.

VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER

Position:                               VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER

 

Volunteer Stipend:             $118.00 - $392.00 per month

 

Duties:           This is a volunteer firefighting position performing a variety of duties including fire prevention, suppression, rescue, and disaster services to prevent or minimize the loss of life and property by fire or disaster conditions under the general guidance and direction of the City Fire Chief or senior chief office.
