NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Milton-Freewater, Umatilla County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 will be held in the Albee Room at the Public Library. The meeting will take place on April 30, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive public comment on the budget. A public hearing concerning the proposed uses of State Revenue Sharing Funds will also take place. The City is proposing the funds be used for public safety purposes.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 19, 2024 at City Hall, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
The location of the budget meeting is handicap accessible. If you will need any special accommodations, or an interpreter, to attend or participate in the meeting, please call 938-5531 (TDD 938-5511) between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
