NOTICE OF ELECTION
Nominations for the following City Council positions will be placed on the May 19, 2026 primary election ballot:
Councilor, Ward #1
Councilor, At Large Position #2
Councilor, At Large Position #3
Any registered elector who wishes to file as a candidate for Milton-Freewater City Council may do so at the City Recorder’s office, City Hall, 722 South Main, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Filing will be no earlier than January 9, 2026 and no later than March 3, 2026 for ELECTED INCUMBENTS.
Filing will be no earlier than January 9, 2026 and no later than March 10, 2026 for other than Elected Incumbents.
Any registered Milton-Freewater elector may become a candidate for any elective office to which he or she is constitutionally eligible by filing a declaration of candidacy as provided by Milton-Freewater Ordinance No. 772, and paying a filing fee of $5.00.
