Continue to work to resolve or mitigate the negative impact of the FEMA Floodplain Map Process for Milton-Freewater citizens

Continue to plan for the financial health and solvency of our utilities

Retain and build the city’s financial reserves

Continue to explore secure but profitable investment strategies for the city’s cash reserves

Pave all unimproved streets and alleys

Increase training for dispatchers, while maintaining training program for patrol officers

Complete the automated water and electric meter reading and smart grid project

Develop a School Resource Officer position from within the police department without adding additional staff

Continue developing a larger, more functional VIPS/Community Policing program

Develop a long term plan for the seismic reinforcement and improvements to city hall and community building

Develop an endowment fund for ongoing financial support of our library

Plan for the sunset of the Urban Renewal Agency to the benefit and least negative impact of our citizens

Seek funding for community reader board in front of city hall
