February, 2011 Luz is the back-up lead for our very important emergency dispatch center. Luz has been with the City as an emergency communications specialist since June of 2002. In her 9 years at the City, she has established a firm reputation as calmly confident, extremely capable and very dependable. She is looked up to by her peers and is the Lead Dispatcher’s (Betty Jane Bugbee) “go to” person in running the dispatch center.
